Homestead Exemption


"A Homestead Exemption is an exemption of $1,000 off of the assessed valuation of your primary residence. In tax year 2019, this was a savings of $91 to $142 depending on where you live in the county." Tulsa County Assessor.org

You only have to file once while you live in the home. Each county handels their filing slightly different so please check with your county.

Senior Freeze

"The Senior Valuation Limitation locks in or freezes the Taxable Fair Cash Value for owners 65 years or older. In order to qualify, you must qualify for Homestead Exemption, be head of household, and the total previous year income for all residents must not exceed the HUD Median Income." assessor.tulsacounty.org

Disabled Veterans

The 100% Disabled Veterans Exemption provides for exemption of the full Fair Cash Value (Market) of homestead property.

You will need need an official letter from the Department of Veteran Affairs.
